Liza has worked in education for almost 10 years ranging from infants to middle school. She has spent time teaching with Edible School Yard, Samuel J. Green in Uptown New Orleans, and most recently as the lead infant teacher at a Reggio Emilia-inspired school in Midcity.
Liza graduated from Loyola University New Orleans, is currently living in the Lower Garden District with her two cats, and enjoys reading in her free time.
Grace founded Algiers Point Montessori in 2019. She has worked in early childhood education in New Orleans for over a decade. Her prior experience includes being the Executive Director of Abeona House and teaching at Carlisle Montessori School in Atlanta, Georgia, at the early childhood program at Louise S. McGehee School, and at the after-school program at Isidore Newman School.
Grace is the author of three children's books including What the Sleepy Animals do at the Audubon Zoo and Snowball Rainbow. She graduated from Emory University in 2009. She lives in Old Algiers with her husband and daughter.
