Program Overview

Algiers Point Montessori is a nonpublic Pre-K and Kindergarten program serving ages 3 to 6. Located on the Westbank, we offer a Montessori-based curriculum with low student-teacher ratios.

We provide a safe, peaceful environment where children learn through play. Hands-on materials designed by Maria Montessori teach literacy, math, problem solving, and practical life skills. Mixed-age classrooms create a homelike setting where children can stay with the same teachers for multiple years and learn at their own (often accelerated) pace.
